UPSC – Different Civil Services are filled through the Civil Service Examination (CSE) conducted by UPSC. Out of lakhs of Candidates, only a few thousand candidates successfully pass the exam. There are many types of Civil services, the most popular services are Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS).

Nationality | Candidate must be a citizen of India for Indian Administration Service (IAS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) For other services – Citizen of India – Citizens of Nepal/Bhutan/ Tibetan, who settled permanently in India before 1 January 1962. |
